Comedian Bill Hildebrandt Highlights Frostbite Festival

Posted

Much needed mid-winter comic relief is coming to Harrison. Stage professional Bill Hildebrandt will perform Saturday, Feb. 22 at the Harrison Moose as part of the Frostbite Winter Festival.

Hildebrandt has played large venues in Las Vegas, Detroit, and across the country. He is a versatile comedian who can entertain a church crowd or a construction trades audience.

A Midwesterner at heart, Bill’s early performances included Shakespeare with the Detroit Resident Artist Theater. He attended Eastern Michigan University to study broadcasting, but Hildebrandt’s real talent is entertaining audiences in hourlong live shows. Anyone can be funny for a few minutes of stand-up comedy, but his key to long term success is his streamlined delivery and wide appeal.

Hildebrandt was named one of the “funniest people in Detroit” by the Detroit Free Press.

Tickets are available to see Hildbrandt at the Harrison Moose Lodge or the Harrison Chamber. A $20 ticket and your Frostbite button includes a free drink, dinner and comedy show from 6-9 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22 at the Harrison Moose.

Not Just for Adults

There are lots of activities for children this year at the Frostbite Winter Festival. A children’s carnival will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22 at the Harrison Lions Club will include a small petting zoo, body art, indoor games and crafts, prizes and a chance to win an Amazon HD Fire 7 tablet. A Frostbite button is required for entry, available at the door.

The Harrison Moose is hosting a vendor fair on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Clark the Juggler will perform at the Moose at noon, 1:15 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. A lollipop wheel gives one a chance to win a free tablet!
