Clare Wendy’s Hosts Grand Re-Opening Event

A fundraiser was held at the Clare Wendy’s on Saturday, Jan. 16 and those proceeds were donated to the Clare County Community Foundation. Pictured left to right; Danielle Wood and Hollie Nash, CCCF Trustees and Darcy Simons, general manager, and Rochelle Myers, assistant manager. 

Wendy’s ownership and management set the stage for a grand reopening of the newly remodeled Wendy’s Restaurant on Tuesday, Jan. 19. In attendance to cut their grand opening ribbon was the Clare Area Chamber of Commerce, Clare city officials, Clare Fire department and many others. Wendy’s opened in 1986 in Clare and this the first significant remodel of the restaurant, now under the ownership of the TEAM Schostak Family Restaurants.

TEAM Schostak plan to invest millions to upgrade its numerous Wendy’s restaurant locations in Michigan and Clare is the first.
