The Clare Kiwanis Club has been providing support to the youth of Clare County for 86 consecutive years. The club currently has 30 members and a combination of fundraising activities along with community donations allows the club to provide approximately $48,000 annually to the youth of Clare County.

An annual tradition for over three decades has been awarding of the Scholar Athlete Scholarships to local graduating seniors from Clare, Farwell and Harrison High Schools. Currently there are two recipients annually from each school who receive the $1,000 Scholar Athlete Award.

In 2017, the club instituted an additional scholarship for Career and Technical Education. Each year one student from Clare, Farwell and Harrison receive this $1,000 scholarship.

In support of these students and their families, the Clare Kiwanis hosts an annual scholarship banquet to award and acknowledge all scholarship recipients and their families.
