The Board of Directors of Clare County Transit are pleased to announce the following organizational changes to our staff.
Tom Pirnstill, who has been our Executive Director since Feb 5, 2005, has announced his retirement effective the end of February 2025. The Board wishes to thank Tom for his 20 years of dedicated service in the Transit business as well as his service to the Communities in Clare County. He led the way with securing the funding for our new facility in 2010. Followed by our solar array in 2013. His planning has provided the way for sustained service to the citizens of Clare County.
New Executive Director is Katie MacInnes. Katie has served the public transit sector for over 19 years. She has been with the Clare County Transit serving as the Finance Director for 13 years. Her experience with Customers, accounting and audits will serve the Transit for years to come.
Jeremy Switzer has accepted the position of Operations Manager. Jeremy comes to us with 22 years of experience including customer interface, problem solving and the co-ordination of multiple areas of manufacturing leading to customer satisfaction.
Cory Barz, was our Operations Manager who has taken a position with the Department of Transportation in Lansing as a Data Analyst.
With this transformation, we have also added an Office Manager. Rachell Ramirez. Rachell comes to us with 10 years of experience managing a retail establishment and 20+ years of Customer Service.
With new advancements in buses, ridership programs and on-board Computers plus our new management team, the citizens of Clare County can depend on a public transportation system that will continue to provide the best service. Thank you for using YOUR Public Transportation System.
