Clare Co. Baby Pantry Receives Donation

100 Women Care About Babies

Posted

According to Stephanie Graham, the organizer of the 100 Women Who Care group, a total of $87,250 has been donated to local organizations in the last two years.

Non-profit organizations are nominated by group members each quarter and by an online vote a winner is chosen. Checks from the Women are made directly to the organization and collected by Graham who makes the one-time no strings attached donation.

The Clare County Baby Pantry did not have specific plans for the donation but plan to keep it in their fund for the longevity of the group and any needs that pop up in the future. The pantry serves over 120 families a month and is open each Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Congregational Church at 211 W Spruce Street in Harrison. Find them on Facebook by searching Clare County Baby Pantry or see link below.

Other organizations that received donations from the group in 2022 were the Clare County Animal Shelter, His Helping Hands, and Helping Paws for Veterans.

Find Graham's group by searching 100 + Women Who Care in Clare and Surrounding Area. New members are welcome. The group may be for you if you don't have time in your busy life to volunteer but have been wanting to help those in need, you want 100% of your donation to go directly to a local non-profit organization and you want your donation to become a part of a larger amount of money by joining together with other women.
