CHARLES LUSTER HALL JR.

                Charles Luster Hall Jr., 87 of Harrison, passed away suddenly at Pioneer Golden Estates of Clare. Charles was born the son of Charles Luster Hall Sr. and Eula Mae (Brush) Hall on April 12, 1933 in Renshaw, Illinois. Charles graduated from Golconda Community High School in 1950 and immediately enlisted in the United States Army and proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Hall was united in marriage to Ms. Jean Marie Cuneaz on August 21, 1965 in Pontiac, Michigan. Mrs. Hall preceded Charles in death on October 22, 2018 after fifty-three years of marriage.

                Mr. Hall moved to Harrison in 1987 from Milford, Michigan after his retirement from General Motors Proving Grounds as a Lead Mechanic. Charles dedicated over thirty years working at General Motors. Prior to his employment, he spent several years at Pontiac State Hospital as a Security Guard. After his retirement, Charles enjoyed his time spent raising his grandson, Jeffrey. He kept busy working beside his son Dave building homes and additions for over fifteen years. Charles was a 32^nd degree with Pontiac Lodge #21 F. & A.M., Pontiac, Michigan. While residing in Harrison, Charles was a long- standing member of the Harrison Moose Lodge and Family Center #2235 and the Harrison Sportsmans Club. Charles enjoyed visiting with family and neighbors, bowling, working on vehicles, engines, pontoon rides, playing Bingo and pulling the handle on slot machines.

                Surviving Mr. Hall are his five children; Sarah McCone and husband Kevin, Elizabeth Brendel and husband Frederick, David Lawrence and wife Monica, Daniel Lawrence and wife Kerri and Jeffrey Lawrence and wife Lisa, eleven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, plus many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Mr. Hall also was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Delores Hall and one brother, Eugene Hall.

                Graveside funeral services honoring Mr. Hall will be held Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. from Hillcrest Cemetery, Greenwood Township, Harrison, with Pastor Connie Bongard officiating. Military Honors will be presented to Mr. Hall under the Auspices of the Department of the Army.
