Carol Jean (Harris) Blackledge, age 73, of Harrison MI passed away January 28, 2020. She was born September 5, 1946 in Flint MI to Van and Wanda Harris. Carol grew up in Flint MI, graduating from Southwestern high school. She married husband Edward Blackledge on March 4, 1994. Carol has resided in Harrison MI since 2011, becoming an active member in her church and local food pantry. Carol enjoyed sewing, crocheting, playing and volunteering at the local bingo halls, and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving Carol is her father Van Harris; her loving husband of 26 years Edward Blackledge; brother Rick Harris; children Jennifer Madill-Foster, Dawn Boggs, Cynthia Martin, Todd Blackledge, Lisa Blackledge-Stoica; grandchildren Stacie, Stephanie, Sierra, Haleigh, Brycin, Morgan, Kylie, Jake, Riley; great grandchildren Haydyn, Kohli, Adayiah, Ameyiah, Anayiah, Amyiah, Michael, Levigh, Cayden. She is preceded in death by her mother Wanda Harris and brother Terry Harris.
