Car-Buggy Accident Reported in Sheridan Township

On 12/03/21 at approximately 12 p.m. Deputies responded to a report of a two vehicle injury crash on Beaverton Road east of Hoover in Sheridan Township. Deputies learned that a white colored Buick Rendezvous, driven by a 31 year old Gladwin man, was traveling eastbound on Beaverton when it crashed into the rear of a horse drawn buggy, occupied by a 43 year old Gladwin man, that was traveling eastbound in front of it. The driver of the buggy was transported to the hospital by ambulance for treatment. Alcohol is not a factor in the crash. The crash remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office Traffic Crash Investigation Unit.  

The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Mobile Medical Response Ambulance, the Clare Fire Department, the Clare County Road Commission, and McGuire Towing.
