BRIAN DAVID HALIS

Brian David Halis 56 of Harrison passed away suddenly at his home on Sunday, August 4, 2019. Brian was born September 24, 1962 in Detroit, Michigan the son of Brian Eugene Halis and Alberta Darlene (Fuciarelli) Halis. Brian graduated from Harrison Community Schools in 1980.

                Mr. Halis had resided in Harrison since 1975, moving from Sanford, Michigan and previously from Westland, Michigan. Brian was united in marriage to Ms. Kimberly Kay Conklin on August 20, 1994 in Harrison.

                Brian was an avid hunter, fisherman, Detroit Red Wings and Detroit Lions fan. He also enjoyed boxing, cooking and watching movies. Brian never left his house without his beloved dog Chewy at his side.

                Surviving Mr. Halis is his wife of twenty-four years, Mrs. Kimberly K. Halis of Harrison, one daughter, Mandie Halis also of Harrison, his father, Mr. Brian E. Halis and wife (Maria (Menotti) Halis of Harrison, mother in-law, Rose Conklin of St. Charles, Michigan, brother in-law, William Conklin of St. Charles, close friend, Karl Beemer and wife Celeste of Owosso, Michigan, his beloved dog, Chewy and many extended family members. Mr. Halis was preceded in death by his mother, Alberta Darlene Fuciarelli.

                Life Celebration services honoring Brian will be held Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison with Pastor Connie Bongard officiating. Family and friends are encouraged to join for a time of sharing of memories on Saturday, September 7, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
