BEATRICE IVALOU YOUNG

                Beatrice Ivalou Young age 93 of Marion passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, January 16, 2022. Beatrice was born July 19, 1928 in Ferndale, Michigan the daughter of Ray Ernest Bowen and Gladys Ivalou (Rhineheart) Bower. Beatrice graduated from Gladwin High School, Gladwin, Michigan in 1946. Beatrice was united in marriage to Mr. Vincent L. Young on May 22, 1957 in Clare, Michigan. Mr. Young preceded Beatrice in death on November 15, 1984.

                Mrs. Young had resided in Harrison since 1959, moving from Clare, Michigan. In 2018, Beatrice moved to Marion to resided with her son, son and daughter in law, Steve and Lory Young. Mrs. Young enjoyed reading, word search puzzles, canning, watching television shows, especially Wheel of Fortune, The Price is Right and Daniel O’Donnell televised specials. Beatrice was most passionate about spending time with her grandchildren and visits from family and friends.

                Surviving Mrs. Young are her four sons; Kevin Young of Harrison, Wayne Young also of Harrison, Steve Young and wife Lory of Marion and Ken Young and wife Lisa of Ozark, Alabama, eleven grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, one brother, Lloyd Bowen and wife Jean of Gladwin, one nephew, four nieces, and many great-nieces and great-nephews. Beatrice also was preceded in death by her parents.

                Funeral services honoring Mrs. Young will be held Monday, January 24, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. from Stocking Funeral Home, 165 West Oak Street, Harrison, with Pastor Connie Bongard officiating. Visitation will take place on Monday, January 24, 2022 from 10:30 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Harrison.
