ARTHUR “ART” DALE WOODWORTH

Arthur “Art” Dale Woodworth, age 89, of Harrison, passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2021, in Royal Oak, MI.

Arthur was born September 11, 1931, in Waterford, Michigan, the son of Lester and Elsie (Wood) Woodworth. On September 5, 1964 he married the love of his life Diana Josiephine (LaGrue) Woodworth.

Arthur was a Korean War vet and was a longtime member of the Harrison Moose Lodge; he worked for the US Postal service before retiring. He enjoyed classic cars, golfing, fishing, feeding the deer, watching baseball and football, traveling, and most of all he enjoyed spending time sharing stories with his friends and family. Art had a big sense of humor and loved with a stern heart. He was always full of life and very quick-witted. He will be sorely missed by friends and family, and by all of those who loved him.

Arthur is survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and his brothers Lester and Robert Woodworth.

Family and friends will gather for a service on Saturday, July 17, 2021, at his residence.
