American Legion Assistance Awesome

My name is Margie Gestro. My uncle Arthur Woodworth passed away on July 4, 2021. My brother, Carter Woodworth, called the American Legion and asked if they could do a ceremony for our uncle and grandfather. We asked for July 17, and they called my brother back and said absolutely they would be there.

When they arrived, we were awestruck! What a beautiful thing they do for those who served our country! We could have not been prouder; he would have loved it the most.

Thank you to Dale and his colleagues for a beautiful ceremony! There was not a dry eye in attendance.

The American Legion will always be in our hearts. Thank you for a special ceremony for him and us in our time of need.
