Frostbite Polar Dip

Just three jumpers this year for the Frostbite Winter Festival Polar Dip due to freezing temperatures and the Mobile Medical Response’s recommendation not to hold the icy plunge. Harrison Community Fire Department members Blake Wallace, Barry Wallace, and John Damvelt took the plunge instead. Windchill temperatures were well below zero on Budd Lake Saturday morning. Chili Contest

The Harrison City Market held a chili/soup cook-off on Saturday, Feb. 12 as part of the Frostbite Winter Festival community events. Barry Henry III won first place with his Chicken Jalapeno Popper soup, Matt Dunaj won second place with Matt's White Bean Chili with Black Bean Cream, and Jeremy LaPratt won third place with his Hearty Sirloin & Sausage Chili. 

Frostbite Elvis

Frostbite Cornhole

On Friday, Feb. 11 the Harrison Chamber of Commerce held a Cornhole Tournament as part of the Frostbite Winter Festival activities. First place team Board Lordz, second place team Stocker Clan and third place, team Lewber.
