Road Commission Partners with Clare County Schools for School Spirit

To boost school spirit, the Clare County Road Commission partnered with Clare, Farwell and Harrison high school art students in a snow plow blade-painting project. Students from each school painted a blade for their school’s pride, including Krysta Neuman’s art club in Farwell, Amanda Fletcher’s art students in Clare, and Ian Humphres’ art class in Harrison.

Each blade was driven by the road commission in their homecoming parades. Supplies were donated by Jason Koch (Clare), Palmer’s Hardware (Farwell), and Harrison Lumber (Harrison).

Farwell’s blade is currently in front of their school system on M115. Harrison’s can be seen in front of the Harrison High School. Eventually, all three blades will be displayed in front of the road commission building at 3900 E. Mannsiding Road, Harrison.
