GLENN H. BUCHOLZ

Glenn Hutson Bucholz,
81, of Harrison, passed away Monday, August 25, 2008 at his home. Glenn
was born May 17, 1927 in West Branch, Michigan, the son of Emil and
Edith (Hutson) Bucholz.
Mr. Bucholz served his country in the United States Army. Glenn was
united in marriage to the former Mable Davis on July 28, 1951 in
Houghton Lake, Michigan. Mr. Bucholz had resided in Harrison for most of
his life. He owned and operated the Clare County Cleaver, was past Mayor
for the City of Harrison and was a life member of the John J. Carton
Masonic Lodge #436 of Harrison and a member of the Loyal Order of Moose
Lodge #2235 also of Harrison.
Surviving is his loving wife; Mable Bucholz of Harrison, one son;
Martin Bucholz and his wife Joanne of Harrison, one daughter; Glenda
Rauch also of Harrison, one brother; Wayne Bucholz and wife Sue of
Gladstone, Michigan, four grandchildren; Steven Rauch and wife Peggy,
Brian Rauch, Emily Rauch and Jonathan Rauch, six great-grandchildren:
Jadyn, Mackala, Hunter, Jonathan II, Glenn Matthew and Draiman, plus
several nieces and nephews.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Dean and
Clifford Bucholz.
Celebration of Life services for Glenn, were held Friday, August
29, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison with Elder
Dale Beavers officiating. Inurnment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery,
Harrison.
Memorial contributions in memory of Mr. Bucholz may be considered
to: John J. Carton Masonic Lodge #436 of Harrison, American Lung
Association or American Red Cross. Arrangements for Glenn were entrusted

VIRGINIA F. AUSTIN
Virginia F. Austin, 85, of Harrison,
passed away Monday, September 1, 2008 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital,
Pontiac, Michigan. Virginia was born April 27, 1923 in Oak Harbor, Ohio,
the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leaser. Virginia was united in marriage to
Mr. Edward Russell Austin on July 22, 1939 in Napoleon, Ohio. Mr. Austin
preceded Virginia in death. Mrs. Austin had resided in Harrison since
1971, coming from Berkley, Michigan.
Surviving are one son; Richard E. Austin of Alaska, one brother;
Lowell Leaser of Monroe, Michigan, two sisters: Audry Day of Monroe,
Michigan and Priscilla Belkofer also of Monroe, a half sister; Gladys
Kaywood, a niece; Della and close friends; Thomas and Nancy Aksten Sr.
of Lake Orion, Michigan. Virginia also was preceded in death by her
parents and two sons: Russell D. and Robert E. Austin.
Burial services for Mrs. Austin were held Tuesday, September 9,
2008 at Pleasant Plains Cemetery, Harrison. To share an online

CLIFFORD C. CRAMER
Clifford C. Cramer, 82, of
Greensburg, (formerly of Harrison and North Port, FL), died Wednesday,
August 20, 2008, in New Haven Court. He was born September 25,1925, in
Greensburg, a son of the late Harvey Grant and Jesse (Barnhart) Cramer.
Before retiring, he was employed by Westinghouse and later Railway
Industrial. He was a Marine Corps veteran who served during World War II
from 1943 to 1946. He was a graduate of Greensburg High School and
received, as a young man, the American Legion Award.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first
wife, Kathryn (McGill) Cramer, on Dec. 8, 1970, and several brothers and
sisters. He is survived by his wife, Mary Helen (Bates) Cramer; a son,
Clifford Brooks Cramer and wife Linda, of Florida; a daughter, Cathy
Geier and husband Geoffrey, of Greensburg; a stepson, Thomas Lang, of
Boston, Mass.; a stepdaughter, Marlana Slater and husband David, of
California; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and several
nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were in Greensburg, PA, August 25. Graveside
services was in Harrison, MI with Pastor Marion Hall officiating.
Arrangements were entrusted with Stocking Funeral Home.

JOYCE JANE ESCH

Joyce Jane Esch,
73, from both Lake Jackson, TX and Harrison, MI passed away on Saturday,
August, 23, 2008 at Brazosport Regional Hospital in Lake Jackson, Texas.
Joyce was born on May 20, 1935 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of
Rexford Merton Dingman and Alice Jane Dingman. She married her husband
on June 30, 1956 and they moved from Michigan to Texas in 1968.
Joyce was a teacher by trade, but she considered her family her greatest
achievement. She also enjoyed working with the elderly and she was a
nurse's aide for several years. She loved traveling to her cottage in
Harrison, Michigan each summer, but she also enjoyed returning to Texas
each fall to see her children and grandchildren. Joyce made friends
wherever she went and she will be greatly missed by her family and
friends in both Michigan and Texas.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Dan
Dingman, and her husband Frank. She is survived by her brother, Ford
Dingman and his wife Pam; daughters Chris Singhania and her husband
Vinay; Paula Gonzalez and her husband Amanda, Jr; Kay Esch Mason; son
Steven Esch and his wife Yvonne; and grandsons Brian Singhania, Tony
Gonzalez; Gavin Gonzalez; Ian Esch; Rexford Esch and many nieces and
nephews.
Visitation was held at Lakewood Funeral Home in Lake Jackson Texas
on Friday, August 29, 2008 with a graveside memorial service on
Saturday, August 30, 2008.

LILY A. CARRELL
1936-2008
Lily A. Carrell, 72, of Harrison went to be with her Lord on
Wednesday, September 3, 2008. Lily was born March 24, 1936 in Detroit,
Michigan, the daughter of Floyd H. and Lois (Metzler) Davis. Lily was
united in marriage to Mr. Albert H. Carrell on October 8, 1955 in Flint,
Michigan. Mrs. Carrell had resided in Harrison since 1999, coming from
Oswego, Kansas and Montrose, Michigan.
Lily was a very active member of The Lighthouse Full Gospel
Ministry of Harrison. Lily was an avid Bingo player. She enjoyed caring
for and loving her family and neighbors, crocheting, cooking and playing
board games with her family and neighbors.
Surviving is her loving husband, Albert H. Carrell of Harrison, two
daughters: Julie Diehl and husband Tim of Kawkawlin, Michigan and
Barbara Crompton and husband Halbert of Auburn, Michigan, two sons: Don
Carrell of Standish, Michigan and Matt Carrell and wife Melissa of
Gladwin, Michigan, two sisters: Mary Noland of Burton, Michigan and Pat
Holland and husband Wayne of Montrose, Michigan, eighteen grandchildren,
twelve great-grandchildren plus numerous nieces and nephews. Lily was
preceded in death by her parents and two brothers: Harlow and Art Davis.
Funeral services were held Saturday, September 6, 2008 at 2:00 p.m.
from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison, with Pastor Tom Vaughn
officiating. Burial is in the Pleasant Plains Cemetery, Harrison.

PATRICK T. MCKEEVER
Patrick T. McKeever, age 59; of
Pontiac; died September 9, 2008. An Army veteran, he was employed by the
City of Pontiac for 25 years, retiring in 2000. Husband of Margaret
“Sally” McKeever; brother of Robert (Debbie) McKeever, Jerry McKeever
and Marie McKeever. Funeral service 10am, Saturday at Pixley Funeral
Home - David Chapel, 3530 Auburn Road in Auburn Hills. Visitation Friday
