Beatrice "Beabe" Beebe
79 of Harrison passed away Sunday, October 14, 2007 at Covenant Health
Care-Saginaw, Michigan. Beatrice was born March 17, 1928 in Flint,
Michigan, the daughter of Frank and Esther (Hill) Homing. Beatrice was
united in marriage to Walter Beebe Jr. on August 23, 1947 in Flint,
Michigan. Mr. Beebe preceded Beatrice in death on April 9, 1993. Mrs.
Beebe had resided in Harrison since 1985 coming from Swartz Creek,
Michigan.
Beatrice retired from General Motors Corporation-Truck and Bus
Plant of Flint, after thirty years of employment. Mrs. Beebe was a
member of the Harrison Lioness, Harrison Eagles Aerie #3541 Ladies
Auxiliary and the Harrison V.F.W. Post 1075 Ladies Auxiliary. Beatrice
enjoyed playing cards, crafting and assisting with local fund raising
events.
Surviving is her daughter, June Ellen Chasteen and husband Michael
of Skandia, Michigan, two sons: James Beebe of Harrison and Ricky Beebe
of Durand, Michigan, one brother, Robert Horning and wife Darlene of
Bancroft, Michigan, two sisters: Maxine Beebe and husband Ellsworth of
Kalkaska, Michigan and Donna Reif of Flint, five grandchildren: Jeremy
Chasteen, Brandon Beebe, Megan Jungquist and husband Richard, Jamie
Beebe and Berry Beebe, plus numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Beebe also
was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Peggy Beebe in 1974,
two brothers: Donald and Roy Homing and three sisters: Ruth Ann, Rea Sue
and Mary Jane.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 18, 2007 at 3:00
p.m. from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison with members of the Harrison
Lioness and Harrison Eagles Ladies Auxiliary officiating. Visitation
will be held Thursday, October 18, 2007 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Stocking
Funeral Home, Harrison. Memorial contributions in memory of Mrs. Beebe

ALLEN S. CLARK
Allen S. Clark,
age 75, of Davenport, FL, died Saturday, October 6, 2007, in Auburndale,
FL. He was born March 5, 1932 in Lincoln, Michigan, and moved from
Harrison, MI twelve years ago. He was a sergeant in the US Army serving
in the Korean War; he was a diesel mechanic for Operating Engineers #324
and #302. He was a member of Sound of Light Ministries, Davenport, FL
and a permanent member of Disabled American Veterans.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth Clark; brother,
Ernest Thomas Clark; sisters, Emily Clark and Clara Gryder. He is
survived by his wife Lois Clark of Davenport; children, Lynne Struble of
Davenport, Mark and Mary Clark of Sanford, MI, Judy and Ron Hancock of
Kingsley, MI, Sandy and Dave Heckert of Harrison, MI, Amy and Ken May of
Davenport, Alan and Kim Blevins of Sterling, OH; brother, Robert and
Josephine Clark of Lawton, OK; sister Mina Mullins of Collinsville, AL;
14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were Sunday, October 14, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. from
Stocking Funeral Home with Elder Dale Beavers officiating. Visitation
was Saturday, October 13, 2007 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 p.m. Full
Military Honors were conducted by the members of the V.F.W. Post #1075.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorials be given to
Good Shepherd Hospice, 105 Arneson Ave., Auburndale, FL 33823.

WANDA RUSSELL

Sept 15, 1925 - Oct. 13, 2007
Wanda Russell, age
82, of Harrison, Michigan, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2007, at
the home of her daughter in Reading, Michigan. She was born September
15, 1925 in Pioneer, Ohio to Clarence Casper & Lucille (Parney) Johnston
Sr. She was married July 1, 1944 to Lawrence Russell and he preceded her
in death.
Wanda was a former resident of Hillsdale and Hudson prior to moving
to Harrison and she was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary of Harrison.
Surviving are daughters, Doris Evans of Osseo, Judy (Harry) Webb,
Betty Russell & David Nelson, Joyce (Joe) Sanford, all of Hillsdale,
Joane Lambright & Robert Covey of Quincy, Patty (Jerry) Ryan of Reading,
Sally (George) Meade of Hillsdale, Jean (Rich) Meaker of St. Johns, Jane
Russell & Jay Thompson of Harrison; a son, Max (Delores) Russell of
Osseo; 29 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren; sisters, Hazel
(Bill) Rothlisberger of Reading, Beatrice (Norm) Bechtol of Montpelier,
Ohio and Mary (Phil) Franks of Waldron; brothers, Clarence (Carolyn)
Johnston of Hudson and Robert (Gail) Johnston of Hillsdale.
Funeral services for Wanda Russell were Wednesday, October 17,
2007, at 1:00 p.m., at the VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home in Hillsdale with
Rev. David Tran officiating. Interment followed at the Maple Grove
Cemetery in Hudson. The family received friends for visitation Tuesday
from 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home.

HERSCHEL J. SANSOM
Herschel J. Sansom
81, of Harrison, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at Isabella
County Medical Care Facility, Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. Mr. Sansom was
born February 4, 1926 in Colp, Illinois, the son of Herschel H. and
Edith O. (Vancil) Sansom. Mr. Sansom served in the United States Navy
during World War II. Herschel retired from General Motors as an
electrician. He had resided in Harrison since 1976, coming from
Ortonville, Michigan.
Herschel was united in marriage to Charlotte L. "Sherry" Ryder on
November 15, 1995 in Harrison. Mr. Sansom enjoyed fishing, hunting,
chopping wood and the companionship of his dogs.
Surviving is his wife, Charlotte L "Sherry" Ryder of Grass Lake,
Michigan, one son, Jack Sansom and wife Betty of Clarkston, Michigan,
three daughters: Jill Psaros and husband John of Davison, Michigan, Joy
Hutchinson and husband Dennis of Midland, Michigan and Debbie Fitts and
husband Mark of Krumm, Texas, ten grandchildren and eight
great-grandchildren. Mr. Sansom was preceded in death by his parents and
one grandson, Shawn.
Funeral services took place on Saturday, October 20, 2007 at 12:00
p.m. from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison, with Pastor Greg Pratt
officiating. Burial is in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Harrison. Memorial
contributions in memory of Mr. Sansom may be considered to: Isabella Co.
