FRED TERWILLIGER JR.

   Fred Terwilliger Jr., age 84, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2006 at his home. Fred was born October 18, 1921 in Alma, Michigan, the son of Frederick and Hannah (Mowry) Terwilliger Sr..
   Mr. Terwilliger was united in marriage to Pauline Smith in St. Louis on July 25, 1942. Fred went to Alma Schools and resided in Alma, Michigan most of his life until moving to Harrison 22 years ago. Mr. Terwilliger was in the 101st Airborne Division during WWII. He retired from the Alma Post Office in 1983 after many years as a postal carrier. He was an avid bowler, golfer, and fisherman. He loved to play cribbage, horseshoes, and having a good time with his family and friends.
   Fred was predeceased by; his parents, four brothers; Jerry, Lyle, Richard, and Jon, one sister; Helen.
   Fred is survived by his loving wife; Pauline Terwilliger of Harrison, one daughter; Janice & Tom Salchert of Blanchard, two sons; Lyle & Nancy Terwilliger of Alma, Tom Terwilliger of St. Louis, seven grandchildren; Aaron & Jen Leonard, Joseph Leonard, Scott Terwilliger, Jamie Terwilliger, Casey Terwilliger, Thomas B. Terwilliger & Elijah Terwilliger, three great grandchildren, three brothers; Bill & Vivian Terwilliger of Alma, Carl & Mary Lou Terwilliger of Vestaburg, Denny Terwilliger of St. Louis, one sister; Mary Clark of St. Louis, caregiver & special family friend; Linda Fairchild of Harrison.
   Funeral service was held at Smith Family Funeral Home, St. Louis Chapel on Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at 11am. Visitation was held Tuesday, February 28, 2006 from 2-4pm & 6-8pm. Clergyman were Mr. Mark Salchert, Mr. Bill Terwilliger, and Mr. Denny Terwilliger. Place of burial is Chapel Gardens, Elwell, Michigan.

ROBERT J. DOBSON, JR.

   Robert "Bob" Dobson, Jr., age 54, of Harrison, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2006 at the Mid-Michigan Regional Medical Center in Midland, Michigan. He was born the son of Robert and Donnabella (McCluth) Dobson on June 28, 1951 in Lansing, Michigan. Later in life, he served in the United States Army and he married Kathryn Nimmo on December 07, 2001 in Harrison. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and most of all... spending time with his family and friends.
   He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Dobson of Harrison; his son, Benjamin (Tiffany) Dobson of Temple, Michigan; his daughter, Samantha Dobson of Lansing, Michigan; two stepsons, Chris (Sara) Clark and Jeremy (Lindsey) Clark all of Lansing, Michigan; three brothers: Royal (Kim) Dobson of Bath, Michigan, Don (Lori) Dobson, and Jerry (Bev) Grice all of Harrison; two sisters, Ruby Sams of Grass Lake, Michigan and Ruth Shooter of Toledo, Ohio; his brother-in-law, Bruce (Denise) Nimmo of Toledo, Ohio; six grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and his special friends, Benny (Debbie) Navarro of Lansing, Michigan. He was preceded in death by: his parents, grandparents, and his in-laws, John (Jean) Nimmo.
   Funeral services took place on Tuesday, March 14, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. from the Stocking Funeral Home in Harrison with Elder Dale Beavers officiating. Interment is in Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, MI. Those wishing to express their sympathy with a memorial contribution are asked to consider the Dobson family. Arrangements were entrusted to the Stocking Funeral Home in Harrison, Michigan.

JOHN HENRY HERRON

   John H. "Jack" Herron age 80 of Harrison, formerly of Durand, Michigan passed away February 16, 2006 at Autumn Wood of McBain. He was born on June 15, 1925 the son of John and Agnes (Coleman) Herron in Marion, Michigan.
   Mr. Herron worked for the City of Durand until 1984 when he retired. John enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting and attending blue grass jamborees.
   Surviving are one son; Joseph (Shelva) Cebulski of Owosso, one daughter; Cecilia (Bob) Clark of Cadillac, two sisters; Marie Deneen of Cass City and Donna Jean Fox of Farwell, eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren, one nephew; Elmer Vangorder and one niece; Jackie (Ed) Newcome. John was preceded in death by his wife Helen on August 8, 2003, his parents, one son; Robert D. Cebulski on August 24, 2000, one brother; Robert Lee Herron, two sisters; Alice LaMar and Annabelle Alden and one grandson; Jeremy Clark.
   In keeping with John's wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on March 11, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. from Stocking Funeral Home with Pastor Marion Hall officiating. Inurnment will be in Hamilton Township Cemetery, Harrison. Memorial contributions may be considered to Autumn Wood of McBain or Mid Michigan Hospice. ALICE REIMANN

   Alice Reimann age 89, of Harrison and Florida went to be with our Lord on March 7, 2006 passing away in Ocala, Florida. Alice was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Reimann on May 11, 1994. Also preceding her in death was her parents, five brothers, and three sisters. She is survived by a sister-in-law, a brother-in-law and several nieces and nephews.
   Alice worked for A.C. Spark Plug a General Motors division for thirty-three years. She was a Lifetime Member of the Order of the Eastern Star, since 1961. She was Worthy Matron twice during that time; she had also served in two Grand Families.
   Alice was a member of the Lake and Forest Club in Florida from 1986 to 1996 where she served on the Board of Directors, and had belonged to the Women's Club at Lake and Forest.
   Services for Alice took place on Tuesday, March 14, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at the StephensonWyman Funeral Home in Clare. Burial will be in the Flint Memorial Cemetery in Mt. Morris. Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to the Hospice of Marion County, P.O. Box 4860, Ocala, Florida 34478-4860. Arrangements were handled by the Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home, Inc. of Clare.

LILLIAN EDNA LANE

   Lillian E. Lane age 78 of Harrison passed away February 22, 2006. She was born the daughter of Roy W. and Edna M. (Cover) Knight on January 17, 1928 in Pontiac, Michigan. Lillian has been a resident of Harrison for the past 37 years coming from Rochester, Michigan. She enjoyed crafts, music, dancing and singing.
   Surviving are three daughters; Mary Ward of Orion, Michigan, Becky Wannamaker and Tammy Lane both of Harrison, Michigan, one sister; Mary Smith of Indiana and four grandchildren; Ricky, Rocky, John and Hannah. Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers; Cletus and Nathan Knight, and one sister; Violet Vestrand.
   Funeral services were held on Saturday, February 25, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. from Stocking Funeral Home with Elder Dale Beavers officiating. Interment is in Maple Grove Cemetery, Harrison.
