After the birth of their son, the family joined Clare Christ Fellowship, where they remain members. He was also a member of Keryx Prison Ministries and Lansing Area Emmaus. Often attributed as stubborn, hard headed, and pugnacious, Bob will be missed not only be his family, but by neighbors and friends traversing the world over. His generous hand and helping heart has touched many.
Matthew 11:28 says, "Come to me, all ye who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest," Listen in the distant thunder and you shall hear him start his bike and ride off in his father's heavenly kingdom.
Services were held at Clare Christ Fellowship on Colonville Rd in Clare on Saturday, May 29, 2010, 11:00 A.M. Visitation was held on Friday, May 28, 2010 from 2-8:00 P.M. at the church.    Isaiah 40:28-31 Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the LORD, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might, He increases strength. But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint."
