MARY LOU HEIN

   Mary Lou Hein, "Mama Lou", 72, of Harrison, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2008 at Central Michigan Community Hospital, Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. Mary Lou was born March 9, 1936 in Kane, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Wayne C. and Ruth E. (Bowers) Brewer. Mary Lou was united in marriage to Mr. Albert Lewis Hein on July 27, 1973 in Harrison. Mr. Hein preceded Mary Lou in death on January 26, 2008.
   Mrs. Hein was a long time resident of Clare County. Mary Lou was a member of the Harrison Women of The Moose Chapter #1804. Mrs. Hein enjoyed sewing, leather crafting and playing & singing music.
   Surviving are four daughters: Kathleen Conklin of Clinton, Arkansas, Marlena Haefele and husband Dennis of Barstow, California, Margie Bailey and husband Jeff of Ontonagon, Michigan and Shannon Cottrell and husband Rob of Harrison, four sons: Gerald Tedrow and wife Nancy of Jackson, Michigan, Michael Hein of Carson City, Michigan, Robert Corbin and his girlfriend Vicky of Harrison and James Corbin and wife Sue of Ludington, Michigan, mother-in-law, Mrs. Kathleen Funke of Clare, one sister, Lulu Belle Cornwell and husband Don of Lansing, five brothers: Robert Brewer of Mt. Pleasant, John Brewer and wife Jenny of Lansing, Scott Brewer and wife Phyllis also of Lansing, Melvin Brewer and wife Connie of Harrison and Jim Brewer and wife Mary also of Harrison, three sisters in-law: Nellene, Ella Rose and Barbara, thirty-three grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, plus numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hein also was preceded in death by her parents, three sons: Kenny Corbin and Butch and Walter Hein, one son-in-law, Boyd Conklin, one brother, Art Brewer, one sister, Margaret Brewer and five grandchildren: Gary Williams, Carrie Williams, Jesse Williams, Audrey Corbin and Amber Haefele.
   Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison, with Elder Dale Beavers officiating. Burial took place in Pleasant Plains Cemetery, Harrison.

LYLE D. MOORE

   Lyle D. Moore, age 82, of Harrison, formerly of Lansing, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2008 at the Munson Hospice House in Traverse City.
   Funeral services were Thursday, May 29 at 11:00 A.M. at the Berry Funeral Home in Shepherd. Interment will be in Union Cemetery.
   Lyle was born August 16, 1925 in Blanchard to Lewis and Ida (White) Moore. He married Beverly Burgess July 16, 1947, she preceded him in death in 1984. He had lived in the Lansing area and worked as a electrician for General Motors for 37 years. After his retirement, Lyle moved to Harrison. He served in the Navy Sea Bee's during WWII and was a member of the American Legion in Harrison.
   Survived by 5 children; Jill (John) McDowell of Boyne City, Juan Moore of Lansing, Jalene Moore of Traverse City, JoEllen Moore of Potterville, Corey (Nancy) Moore of Traverse City; 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
   Preceded in death by his wife Beverly and a son-in-law Sammy Stamper and several brothers and sisters.

SHIRLEY L. GENOW

   Shirley L. Genow, 78, of Harrison, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2008 at her home. Shirley was born August 6, 1929 in Bay City, Michigan, the daughter of John and Alice (Charbonneau) Furtaw. Shirley was united in marriage to Mr. Clifford George Genow on February 7, 1948. Mr. Genow preceded Shirley in death in 1977. Mrs. Genow had resided in Harrison since 1955, coming from Linwood, Michigan.
   Surviving are two sons: Thomas Genow and wife Kambra of Harrison and David Genow and wife Delores of Palm Bay, Florida, one daughter-in-law, Jill Genow of Lake George, two sisters: Jackie Butterfield of Harrison and Betty Robinson and husband Bob of Bay City, nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and one great great-grandson. Mrs. Genow also was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Cliff Genow.

PHILIP W. HAYHOE

   Phillip W. Hayhoe, age 76, of Harrison, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at Masonic Pathways in Alma.
   There will be memorial services held Sunday, June 8, 2008 at 3:30 P.M. at the Masonic Lodge in Mason, with Pastor George Ayoub officiating.
   Phillip was born March 17, 1932 in Dansville to Lyle and Ruth (Merindorf) Hayhoe. He married Jennie Aug. 19, 1977 in Diamondale. Phillip was a former member of the Masonic Lodge in Mason and currently was a member of the Harrison Masonic Lodge.
   He was employed by the Planet Corp. in Lansing, retiring in 1991. He was also a former member of the Moose Lodge in Harrison.
   Survived by wife: Jennie, 6 Children: Eugene Hayhoe of Lansing, Joanne (Eddie) Griesmer of Lansing, Beth (Greg) Herban of Charlotte, Bonnie (Roy) Melton of Lansing, Liz (Lance) Griffin of Cape Coral, Heather Hayhoe of Tampa, FL, 12 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
   Preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Clayton Hayhoe and 2 grandchildren, Julie and Kraig Robertson.

TAMRA KAY RINALD

   Tamra Kay Rinald, age 49, of Walkerville, Michigan, passed away on Friday, June 06, 2008 at the Hackley Hospital in Muskegon, Michigan. She was born the daughter of James W. and Donna E. (Mussell) Murphy on September 03, 1959 in Austin, Texas. Tamra had lived in the area since 2004, where she had moved from Robstown, Texas.
   She is survived by her parents, James and Donna Murphy of Robstown, Texas; her sons: James Dean (Diana) Rinald of Cadillac, Michigan, Eric Allen Rinald of Robstown, Texas, and Christopher Ryan Rinald of Walkerville, Michigan; her brothers, Gary E. (Marylou) Murphy of Robstown, Texas and David E. (Mildred) Murphy of Coleman, Michigan; her sisters, Karen E. Hill of Robstown, Texas, Janice S. (Ralph) Martin and Jean L. (Richard) Hidey whom all are from Harrison, and Carol A. Brasington of Smithville, Texas; a grandchild, Jaydlyn Deana Rinald of Cadillac, Michigan; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and her lifetime-friend, Michael K. Croft of Walkerville, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Floyd Rinald, her grandfather, Edwin J. Murphy and her grandparents, David E. and Mary L. Mussell, a brother, Larry Murphy, and a sister, Pauline Benson.
   Funeral services took place on Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. from the Stocking Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Young officiating.
