MARJORY AGNES ROMAK

Marjory Agnes (nee
Murray) Romak of Harrison, MI passed away July 1, 2007 at Mid
Michigan Hospital with family by her side.
Marjory was the daughter of deceased parents William Fern and
Margaret Catherine (nee Lorig) Murray. She is survived by her children:
Alexander (Al) Romak of Lake Wales, FL, Cynthia (Brian) Zak, Robert
(Jerry) Romak and Timothy (Tim) Romak both of Harrison, MI.
Grandchildren: Sarah, Joe and Emily. Sisters: Patricia Lozen and Joan
Williams. Several nieces and nephews.
She loved her flowers and gardening. She made lovely handmade
crafts. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
Services were on Friday, July 6, 2007 from 4-9pm with a service at
7pm, located at William R. Hamilton Funeral Home, 226 Crocker Blvd., Mt.
Clemens, MI 48036, 586-463-0577.

DANIEL ROBERT ZIEGLER
Daniel Robert Ziegler
of Cadillac died Monday evening, July 2, 2007 at Memorial Medical Center
of West Michigan in Ludington. He was 68. He was born December 26, 1938
in Detroit to Francis William & Catrina (Marriotto) Ziegler. He married
the former Gail I. Riehl on August 15, 1964 in Warren.
Mr. Ziegler was employed at Hegenscheidt Manufacturing in Sterling
Heights for 16 years and prior to that he owned and operated the Lake
George Hardware Store for 10 years and was the owner and operator of
Hydraulics Unlimited for 20 years and had served in the United States
Navy for 4 years.
He loved hunting, fishing, woodworking, watching TV, gardening,
playing cards, trips with his many friends.
Survivors include his wife, Gail of Cadillac; son, Robert Ziegler
of Cadillac; daughters: Leisha (Thomas) Payne of Cornelius, NC, and
Lucille (Robert) Seebeck of Harrison, MI; 6 grandchildren: Josh Stark,
Kyle Hill, Brittney Hill, Leah Chaffee, Samantha Seebeck, and Cassidy
Seebeck; a brother Leroy Ziegler of Michigan Center, MI. He was preceded
in death by his parents, a son Donald J. Ziegler in 1978 and a sister
Geraldine Bone.
Memorial services were held Thursday, July 5, 2007 at 1:00 PM from
the Peterson Funeral Home in Cadillac with Reverend Tim Senter
officiating. Visitation was just prior to the service. Memorial
contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

DOROTHY M. BROWN
Dorothy M. Brown,
age 86, of Harrison, passed away on Monday, July 02, 2007 at her home in
Harrison. She was born the daughter of Alvin L. and Ella A. (Schoncheck)
Gall on April 28, 1921 in Romulus, Michigan. On May 26, 1951, she was
united in marriage to Donald F. Brown in Taylor, Michigan. In her spare
time, she enjoyed: crocheting, cooking, baking, traveling, caring for
her family, picking berries and mushrooms, hunting and fishing, playing:
tennis, pool, and Euchre, and being a member of the First Congregational
Church in Harrison. Her greatest passion was being able to care for her
family and friends. Dorothy had lived in the Harrison area since 1985
where she had moved from Taylor, Michigan.
She is survived by her husband, Donald F. Brown, of Harrison; her
son, Ron F. (Jan) Brown of Gaylord, Michigan; her two daughters, Susan
M. (Loren) Ludwig of Fostoria, Michigan and Barb E. (Jim) Short of
Taylor, Michigan; her seven grandchildren: Chris (Jenny) Brown, Bryan
Brown, Fred (Darlene) Ludwig, Trudy Ludwig, Tracy Ludwig, Kelsey Short
and Tim Short and her two great-grandchildren, Kolby and Ethan Brown and
a host of nieces of nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents
and her brothers, Ervin F. and Norman H. Gall and her sister, Margaret
A. Staffeld.
Funeral services took place on Friday, July 6, 2007 at 11:00 a.m.
from the First Congregational Church in Harrison with Reverend Gerald
Baxter officiating. Burial took place in the Hamilton Twp. Cemetery in
Harrison. Those wishing to express their sympathies by sending a

JUANITA STICKLER
Juanita Stickler, age
87, of Harrison, passed away on Wednesday, July 04, 2007 at her home in
Harrison. She was born the daughter of William Harvey and Eley (Brown)
Sherwood on August 25, 1919 in Blytheville, Arkansas. She retired from
Avon Tube after 23 years of service and was a member of the Harrison
branch of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. On May 16,
1936, she was united in marriage to Vernon Jay Stickler in Flint,
Michigan. He preceded her in death on December 16, 1992. Juanita was
then united in marriage to Delbert Casey. Mr. Casey also preceded her in
death. She had lived in the Harrison area since 1976 where she had moved
from Oxford, Michigan.
She is survived by her daughters, Jo Ellen Hall of Harrison and
Lyla Jean (Dale) Peterson of Queensway, Arizona; ten grandchildren,
twenty-five great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren; and
her daughter-in-law, Jodie Stickler, of Harrison. She was preceded in
death by her parents, a son, Vernon O. Stickler who passed away in 2006,
a brother, Charlie Jowes, her sister, Stella Greer, and her son-in-law,
Mirl Hall, who passed away in 1999.
Funeral services took place on Saturday, July 07, 2007 at 11:00
a.m. from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Harrison
Branch with President Joel Johnson officiating. Burial took place in the
