HAROLD LEROY BOULTON

Harold LeRoy Boulton,
age 81, of Harrison, Michigan, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2008
at the Mid Michigan Regional Medical Center in Clare, Michigan. He was
born the son of Gerald and Isabelle (Dunsmore) Boulton on February 10,
1927 in Flint, Michigan. On May 21, 1949, he became united in marriage
to the former Martha Jane Clayton in South Bend, Indiana. Mr. Boulton
served our country during World War II and had worked for General Motors
as a supervisor for many years. He was also a member of the Vienna
Masonic Lodge #205 of Clio, Michigan, the Valley of Bay City Scottish
Rite, the York Rite, the Elf Khurafeh Shriners of North America and the
Order of Eastern Star Vienna Chapter #283 of Clio, Michigan. He was also
avid when it came to hunting, fishing, and traveling. His greatest
pastimes were spent spending time with his family and friends. Harold
had lived in the Harrison area since 1984, where he had moved from Clio,
Michigan.
Mr. Boulton is survived by his wife, Martha Jane Boulton, of
Harrison, Michigan; his son, Kim Lee Boulton of Spokane, Washington; his
two daughters, Suzanne and Robert Sherwood of Clio, Michigan and Cynthia
and Michael Bartman of Flint, Michigan; his two sisters, Laura Long and
Irene and Jim McKnight, all of Durand, Michigan; eleven grandchildren,
ten great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was
preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Leona Eichhorn.
Funeral services took place on Friday, January 02, 2009 at 1:00
P.M. at the Stocking Funeral Home in Harrison, Michigan with Pastor
Jerry Britton officiating. Burial took place in the Summerfield Township
Cemetery in Harrison. Memorial contributions may be considered to the
Leota Community Church. Visitation was on Thursday, January 01, 2009
from 2:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home; and a Masonic Service took

CLARABELLE M. HARVEY
Clarabelle M. Harvey,
64, of Harrison, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2009 at her home.
Clarabelle was born June 20, 1944 in Wyandotte, Michigan, the daughter
of James and Della (Fry) Sweet. Clarabelle was united in marriage to Mr.
Robert A. Harvey on April 8, 1961 in Clare, Michigan. Mrs. Harvey had
resided in Harrison since 1988, coming from Mason, Michigan. Clarabelle
was an avid collector of dolls.
Surviving is her loving husband, Robert A. Harvey of Harrison, one
son, Edgar James Harvey and wife Danielle of Farwell, Michigan, two
daughters: Christine Ann Lyon of Mason and Tammy Lynn Wright and husband
William of Harrison, one brother, William Sweet and companion Donna of
Mt. Pleasant, five sisters: Elizabeth Brown of Harrison, Dorothy
Vallance and husband Robert also of Harrison, Betty DeFoy of Clare,
Myrtle Jones and husband Clifford of Lansing and Mary Penn and husband
Scott of Florida, six grandchildren: Danny, Samantha, Adam, Marcus,
Courtney and Emily, one great-grandson, Ethan, plus numerous nieces and
nephews. Mrs. Harvey was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 17, 2009 at 2:00
p.m. from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison, with Pastor Dennis Feuerstein
officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 17, 2009 from
11:00 a.m. until time of service. Memorial contributions in memory of

EUGENE J. WETZEL
Wetzel, Eugene J.,
aged 78, of Harrison, Michigan, formerly of Pleasant Lake, passed away,
at his home January 13, 2009 under the loving care of his family and
Woodland Hospice.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Melvina M., five children,
Bonny Wetzel of Clare, Gary (Debra) Wetzel, Dianne Roderick, Preston (Dovie)
Wetzel and Gene E. (Darlene) Wetzel, all of Jackson, fourteen
grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and his
sister-in-law Joyce Wetzel of Jackson. He was preceded in death by his
parents, Eugene and Hazel Wetzel and ten brothers and sisters. Mr.
Wetzel was a retiree of Kelsey-Hayes and a long time farmer in the
Munith area. Services were held at the funeral home Saturday, January
17th. Interment was in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.

EUNICE BEVERLEY WISE
Eunice Beverley Wise, 71, of
Harrison, passed away on Monday, December 29, 2008 at the MidMichigan
Medical Center of Clare. She was born on October 3, 1937 in Bay Port,
Michigan, the daughter of William and Mildred (Jones) Wise.
Eunice had resided in Harrison since 1984, coming from Saginaw,
Michigan. She was an avid Bingo player. Eunice enjoyed making jewelry
boxes and crosses out of plastic canvas and crocheting dish towels and
afghans.
Surviving Eunice is one daughter, Kathryn Little and her husband
Raymond of Harrison, one sister, Roberta Rine of Saginaw, Michigan,
three grandchildren, Melissa Edwards, Lisa Schohl and her husband Edward
and Dixie Little, four great grandchildren, Tabitha Little, Tylor
Edwards, Kassandra Little and Anthony Little, plus numerous nieces and
nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and
four sisters.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on
Wednesday, January 7th, 2009 at 3:00pm at the home of Kathryn Little,

VICTORIA M. ROMANOW
Victoria (Vicky) Marie Romanow, age
89, passed away of congestive heart failure at home in Harrison on
Monday, January 12, 2009. Born Victoria Marie Petlach in Owosso on July
24, 1919, to Anton and Marie Petlach who had emigrated from
Czechoslovakia. She was predeceased by her elder sister Anne Leitch and
her brother, Edward Petlach, residents of Owosso, Michigan.
Married to Peter (Pete) Romanow in Detroit on February 26, 1944. In
1989, they retired to Harrison after owning a business in Novi, Michigan
for twenty-five years. She was a member of Harrison Lodge 1804 Women of
the Moose. Her husband of 59 years died in 2003, and her eldest son,
Thomas LePard of Long Beach, CA, passed away in 2005.
She is survived by five children, Rebecca Woodruff, Paul Romanow
and Anna Romanow of Harrison, Kathleen Kieronski of Waxhaw, NC; Veronica
Romanov of Washington DC. She is also survived by four grandchildren;
three great grandchildren; a second cousin, Oldrich (Ole) Cech of
Owosso, and numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews,
great-great nieces and nephews, and second and third cousins.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2009
from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Stocking Funeral Home in Harrison. An
additional memorial service and inurnment of her ashes is planned later
in 2009 at Glen Eden Cemetery in Livonia, MI.

EMIL "MILO" NIEDERER
Emil "Milo" Niederer, 86, of
Harrison, passed away Friday, January 16, 2009 at Tendercare-Clare. Milo
was born July 28, 1922 in Zurich, Switzerland, the son of Jakob and
Louise (Frei) Niederer. Mr. Niederer was united in marriage to the
former Yvonne Turler on October 2, 1949 in Muttenz, Switzerland. Milo
immigrated to the United States in 1958 with his wife Yvonne, when he
accepted a job as Head Chef with the Olds Hotel in Lansing, Michigan. He
later became the Co-Owner of a very well known German Restaurant also in
Lansing.
Milo was a member of the First Congregational Church of Harrison
and Fraternal Order of Moose, Lodge #2235 of Harrison. Milo volunteered
at Mid Michigan Regional Medical Center-Clare for several years.
Surviving is his beloved wife, Yvonne of Harrison, two nieces:
Gabrielle Schumacher and Evelyne Oesch, both of Switzerland, four
nephews in Switzerland plus many friends.

LOUISE RAROG
Louise Rarog, 87, of Harrison, passed
away Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at her home. Louise was born December 16,
1921 in Cerado Kenova, West Virginia, the daughter of Lee and Bessie (Farra)
Workman. Louise was united in marriage to Mr. Barney J. Rarog on July
28, 1951 in Detroit, Michigan. Mr. Rarog preceded Louise in death on
February 26, 1999. Louise had resided in Harrison since 1987, coming
from Redford, Michigan.
Surviving is one son, Ray L. Rarog and Kathleen Fisher of Harrison,
one brother, Fred Workman of Cleveland, Ohio, one sister, Betty of
Ashland, Kentucky, four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren plus
numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Rarog also was preceded in death by
her parents, one daughter, Judy Wilson, three brothers: Earl, Ray and
Paul and three sisters: Jenny, Ruth and Edith.
