THEDA L. JOHNSON

   Theda L. Johnson (Hanchett) born March 6, 1935 in East Lansing; died December 28, 2005, at the age of 70. Mrs. Johnson was an avid hunter and fisherman all of her life and enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Herman Hanchett Sr., in 1987; her second husband, Raymond Johnson, in 2000; brother, Carl Fouts; and sister, Carol Corey.
   Surviving are her daughter, Clarissa (Rodney) Newton of Potterville; sons, Herman Hanchett Jr. and Neil "Andy" (Teresa) Hanchett both of Harrison, Warren Hanchett of Grand Ledge; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers, Will (Kim) Fouts and John (Joyce) Fouts; sisters, Sheila (Mike) Valley and Della Fouts; brother-in-law, Dave Corey; and sister-in-law, Rosemary Fouts.
   Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 3, at noon at the Gorsline-Runciman Funeral Home, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing. Interment followed in Evergreen Cemetery, Lansing.

HULDAH T. FREDA

   Huldah T. Freda, age 94, of Alva, FL, formerly of Harrison, MI died on November 27, 2005 at the Lehigh Medical Center, Lehigh Acres, FL . She was born on January 28, 1911 in Milton, PA, a child of Charles and Maude Aikey.
   A resident of Alva for the past 13 years, she previously lived in Harrison where she was a member of St. Athanasius Church.
She was the wife of the late Harry J. Freda, she is survived by her daughter, Sylvia P. (Ed) Kusiak of Alva, FL, 4 grandsons, 7 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter.
   A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to the donor's favorite charity.
Arrangements by the National Cremation Society, Ft. Myers, FL.

WILLIAM TAYLOR FULCHER

   William (Butch) Fulcher, age 53, of 38 S. Jackson Road, Lake George passed away at his home on Friday evening, January 6th, 2006, following a long term illness.
   Butch was born January 3, 1953 in Harlan, Kentucky, son of Albert and Jewell (Day) Fulcher. He moved to Clare County in 1988 where he and his wife, Erika owned and operated the North End Service gas station in Lake George.
   Butch is survived by a son, William Fulcher of Howell, MI, a daughter, Cindy Jewell Shumaker of Flint, MI, two sisters, Talma Boring of Kentucky and Jan Lisenbee of Flint and his fiancee, Jeanie Beltz of Lake George. He was preceded in death by his older brother, Al, his younger brother, David, his parents and his wife, Erika.
   In keeping with Butch's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held in the summer. Butch suffered greatly with a long term illness, may he now, Rest in Peace.

AMOS “TED” E. DOUCETTE

   Amos E. Doucette age 89 passed away December 29, 2005 at Mid Michigan Regional Medical Center-Clare. He was born the son of Amos and Harriet (MacRae) Doucette on April 9, 1916 in Charlottetown, Canada. Ted married the late Mary D. Wright on November 18, 1934 in Owosso, Michigan. He served in the United States Army during WWII and received the Purple Heart Medal.
   Ted has been a Harrison resident since 1971. Prior to his residency in Harrison, he lived in Arkansas for three years and before that; Owosso was his home. He was a member of the United Brethren Church of Harrison, a member of the American Legion Post 404 and an avid drum player.
Surviving are his nephew; David Wright and wife Jane of Kalamazoo, Michigan plus several other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary on February 24, 2000, his parents, and one son; Don J. Doucette in 1941.
   Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 2, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. from Stocking Funeral Home with Reverend Lee Palmer officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Owosso, Michigan. Arrangements were entrusted with Stocking Funeral Home, Inc.

JEREMY W. BULLOCK

   Jeremy Wayne Bullock, age 32 of Lewisburg, died Friday in Maury County.
He was formerly employed at International Comfort Products, was a mechanic and loved to work on cars. He was preceded in death by his beloved grandmothers: Mary Bullock and Josephine Congdon; and great-grandparents: Evalyn & Carl Stone, and William M. & Viva Cox.
   Jeremy is survived by his parents: Charlotte & Dan Congdon of Lewisburg; and Steven & Valerie Bullock of Ojai, CA; 3 daughters: Ashley Bullock of Lewisburg, Kadence Keller and Ainsley Bullock of Lawrenceburg; 5 sisters: Vanessa Rounsavill and Heather Rounsavill, both of Murfreesboro, Holly, Heather, and Tara Bullock of CA; a brother: Tyler Bullock of CA; grandparents: Ben & Shari Cox of Sierra Vista, AZ, Helen Howard of Ventura, CA, Malcolm Congdon of Harrison, MI, and Wayne Bullock of S.C.
   Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Bills McGaugh Funeral Home with burial in Sunset Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Derek Taylor, Shawn Jacobs, Mark Gisenveld, Mike Deason, Ben Cox, Robert Hodges, Steven Lowe, and Chris Salavan. Honorary pallbearers will be Keith Albrecht, Jeff King, Mike Snodgrass, and Mike Mullins.
   The family will be at Bills McGaugh Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4:00 –– 8:00 PM for visitation, and Thursday until the funeral hour.
   Bills McGaugh Funeral Home and the United States Forest Service have provided for the planting of a tree in Jeremy’s memory.
