RICHARD JABOUR
July 4, 1950-February 11, 2009

Richard Nihmy Jabour of Harrison,
Michigan, life's journey began on the Fourth of July in Grand Rapids,
Michigan. Rich was adopted as an infant at birth by his mother and
father Jean and Nick Jabour of Clare, from the Grand Rapids Dioceses of
the Catholic Social Services. His biological birth name was George
Marchetti. His parents Nick and Jean Jabour predeceased Richard in 1995
and 2004 respectively.
Rich is survived by two brothers and a sister, Joe of S.
Burlington, VT, John Jabour of Houston, TX and Kathy Chamberlain of Ann
Arbor, MI. Also, Richard's four nephews, Jason and Aaron Chamberlain of
Marquette, MI, Nick and Michael Jabour of Boston, MA and S. Burlington,
VT. Richard's aunts and uncles, Sister Jeanette Jabour of Cincinnati,
OH, Norma and Henry Jabour, Sam and Virgie Jabour. His cousins Jill
Smith, John and Janice Jourdain, Don and Carol Thayer, Carol Holeman,
Tim and Amy Murphy, Matt and Ely Murphy, Joyce and Gene Pety, Jim and
Joyce Ross of Kenab, UT, Dick Thayer and Judy McFarlane. Bobby and
Bonnie Kalil, Phillip & Joanne Kalil, Laurie and Michael Ross of
Pasadena, CA and Allyce Diehl of Pacific Palisades, CA, Michael and
Margaret, Brian and Karl, Keith and Terry and Steve Jabour,
Rich attended St. Cecilia Catholic School where he received his first
communion, confirmation and served as an alter boy under Father Sruba.
Richard graduated from Clare High School in 1969 with many wonderful
friends and classmates. He was a thespian lighting technician for their
class play, Oklahoma. He was a varsity golfer and a two-way starter, as
an offensive line guard and defensive end and wore #72 for the highly
rated 1967 and 1968 Clare Pioneer football teams. Richard attended
Ferris State College and the University of Arkansas for business
administration and marketing. He most recently attended Mid Michigan
Community College.
Rich began working as a youth at his family's business, Clare
Packing Company. He also worked for his aunt Kathleen and uncle Lance at
Thayer Dairy. Richard was a manager of another family business, The
Whitehouse Restaurant. He also managed the Texan Restaurant in Mt.
Pleasant. While residing in Arkansas, he worked in Tire Store Management
for the Firestone and Goodyear Corporations. He later traveled the U.S.
as a long haul driver for Consolidated. He concluded his driving with
Tandem Transport. Rich was also self-employed, RNJ Enterprises, which
retailed multiple gift products via kiosks in Sears stores and Malls.
Richard married Mary Ann Crosby of North Little Rock, AK, a banker
and belly dance studio instructor. Thirteen years later they divorced.
They were unable to have any children due to medical complications. Rich
was challenged by multiple medical conditions these past few years,
including a crushed leg, hydrocephalus, a brain aneurysm, coronary and
thyroid conditions.
On behalf of Richard, the immediate family announces to all extended
family and friends to his memorial mass at St. Athanasius Catholic
Church, 310 S. Broad St. in Harrison. Services took place Saturday,
February 21, 2009 at 11:30 A.M. with Father Rudy officiating. Visitation
was prior from 10:30 until the 11:30 A.M. Memorial Service. Immediately
following, Harrison Moose Lodge hosted a memorial dinner for all funeral
attendees.
The family appreciates and thanks U of M Chief of Staff, Dr. Robert
Chandler, Neurology Department and his medical team for their extensive
care of Richard. We are also especially thankful to John and Janice
Jourdain, Jill Smith, Tom Whitfield, Sister Jean, Mary and Darla of
Fox's, Sherry of the S & R Restaurant and Gail of Babe's Place in

Barbara L. "Bobbie"
Hillman, 75, of Harrison, passed away Saturday, February 14, 2009 at
Tendercare of Clare. Bobbie was born March 4, 1933 in Detroit, Michigan,
the daughter of Earl Lee and Francis E. (Robinson) Brown. Bobbie had
resided in Harrison since 1987, coming from Traverse City, Michigan.
Surviving is her loving husband, Harry L. Hillman of Harrison, five
daughters, numerous grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, plus
numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hillman was preceded in death by her
parents.

GRACE EVA BLACKLEDGE
Grace Eva Blackledge - age 85, passed
away at Woodland Hospice in Mt. Pleasant, MI on Monday, February 9,
2009. Funeral services were held at 1 PM, Thursday, February 12, 2009
from Campbell - Stocking Family Funeral Home, Farwell. Pastor Jim Young
officiated. Burial followed in Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens.
Grace was born in Clare County, the daughter of Arthur and Grace
(Monroe) Sprague on March 20, 1923. She married Arnold Lee Blackledge on
Sept. 30, 1939 in Isabella County. She was a homemaker and loving mother
to her three children. Grace enjoyed the outdoors, and was an avid
hunter, trapper, and fisherwoman. She played the fiddle, accordion,
banjo, and mandolin. She performed with a group of musicians called the
"Honeybees" at lodges and nursing homes in the area. She and her husband
loved to dance, including square dance. Grace was known for her "green
thumb" as witnessed by her beautifully landscaped yard and flowers.
She is survived by her husband, Arnold Lee Blackledge, two sons,
Arnold Lee and wife Geraldine of Florida; King and wife Linda Blackledge
of Harrison; one daughter Penny and husband Jim Wood of Florida; two
brothers, Linis and wife Pat Sprague of Farwell; Russell and wife Mary
Sprague of Farwell; three sisters, Birdie Kelly of Harrison; Louise and
husband Arnold Crook of Hillsdale; Lola Armstrong of Midland; 6
grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Theresa Renaud,
65, of Clare, formerly of Harrison, passed away Monday, February 9, 2009
at Tendercare Nursing Home of Clare. Theresa was born July 5, 1943 in
Taylor, Michigan, the daughter of Bernard and Mildred (Evans) Bulerski.
Theresa had resided in the Harrison and Clare areas since 1979, coming
from Newport, Michigan.
Surviving is her loving daughter, Monique Turner and husband Robert
of Canton, Michigan, two sons: John Renaud of Greenville, Michigan and
Tom Renaud also of Greenville, one brother, Steve Bulerski of Brethren,
Michigan, one sister, Mildred Nagy of Harrison, twelve grandchildren,
plus numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Renaud was preceded in death by
her parents.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service was held Saturday, February
14, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison with Sister
Jean T. Baumann officiating. Memorial contributions in memory of Mrs.

IRA GEORGE GRIFFIN
Ira George "Jack"
Griffin, 82 of Harrison passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at
his home. Jack was born July 4, 1926 in Harrison, the son of Chester and
Mayme (Wolfe) Griffin. Mr. Griffin served his country in the United
States Army. Jack had resided in Harrison since 1987, coming from Texas.
Mr. Griffin was united in marriage to Audrey J. McKenzie on August 14,
1993 in Harrison. Audrey preceded Jack in death on June 12, 1996.
Jack was a life member of the V.F.W. Post 1075 of Harrison, a life
member of the American Legion Post 404 also of Harrison, a member of the
Fraternal Order of Moose Lodge #2235 of Harrison and a member of the
Harrison Lions Club, where he was a past president and also a recipient
of the Melvin Jones Award
Surviving is one daughter, Debra Baron of Harrison, three
grandchildren: Brett, Audrey and Shane, three great-grandchildren: Shane
and Sharese Cox and Heidi Rose Risch, plus numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Griffin also was preceded in death by his parents, one
step-daughter, Lindy Harris, two brothers: Roy and Harold Griffin, one
sister, Dorothy Brechtelsbauer and a grandson, Craiger Risch.
Funeral services were held Monday, February 23, 2009 at 1:00 p.m.
from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison, with Pastor Michael Schaedig
officiating. Military honors were conducted under the auspices of the
American Legion Post 404 of Harrison and the V.F.W. Post 1075 also of
Harrison. Burial took place in the Veterans Section of Hamilton Township
Cemetery, Harrison. Memorial contributions in memory of Mr. Griffin may
