ALICE LOUISE CUDNEY
Alice Louise Cudney,
72, of Gladwin, passed away Saturday, December 2, 2006 at the Gladwin
Living Center, Gladwin. Alice was born March 21, 1934 in Harrison, the
daughter of Lloyd and Mable (Brown) Keysor. Alice was united in marriage
to Fred A. Cudney on June 5, 1954 at the former Skeels Baptist Church of
Gladwin. Mrs. Cudney had resided in the Harrison and Gladwin area her
entire life, with the exception of five years spent in Jordan, Montana.
Alice loved raising her children and grandchildren and also enjoyed arts
and crafting.
Surviving are her loving husband; Fred A. Cudney of Gladwin, one
son; Rod Cudney of Harrison, two daughters; Lorraine “Lorie” Banchoff
and husband Gary of Beaverton and Linda Cudney-Donn and Gordon Donn of
Gladwin, two brothers; Lloyd Keysor of Evart, Michigan and Jim Keysor of
Harrison, two sisters; Vivian Davis and husband Howard of Harrison and
Shirley Ledlow and husband Wymon of Venice, Florida, five grandchildren;
Kenneth Prieskorn and wife Loretta, Melissa Cudney, Aaron Prieskorn and
wife Kim, Chad Banchoff and wife Shelly and Alan Nunn, eight
grandchildren, plus several nieces, nephews and cousins. Alice was
preceded in death by her parents and two brothers; John Franklin Keysor
and Archie Keysor.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at 11:00
a.m. from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison, with Pastor Tim Tanner
officiating. Cremation immediately followed funeral services. Memorial

DONALD HAWLEY
Donald Hawley, 81,
of Harrison, passed away December 3, 2006 in Clare, Michigan after a
short illness. Donald was born July 3, 1925 to Earl & Iola (Lyons)
Hawley in West Bloomfield Twp., MI. Donald worked as a truck driver,
owner and operator of Wash Products in Gladwin during the 1950’s &
1960’s and later Chippewa Beverage Company, Mt. Pleasant. Donald lived
in Clare County since 1967 and Gladwin before that and was a member of
the United States Army and veteran of WWII. Mr. Hawley was a member of
the American Legion Post, Harrison, MI.
Surviving are his son & daughter in law; Kevin & Teri Hawley,
Toledo, OH. Son; Alan Hawley, Gladwin, MI. Daughter & son in law;
Vadonna & Wayne Lewis, Shepherd, MI. Daughter & son in law; Donald Evart
& Kelly Hawley, Harrison, MI. 9 grandchildren, 4 great grand children.
Sister; Dorothy Renas, Gladwin, MI. Sister; Yvonne Kehoe, Gladwin, MI.
Donald was predeceased by his parents and a sister; Virginia
Schultz.
Visitation was December 4, 2006 from 7-9pm.

PATRICIA ANN WEST
Patricia Ann West,
of Flushing, formerly of Harrison, beloved mother and grandmother, age
74, died Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral
services were held at 3PM Friday, December 1, 2006 at Rossell Funeral
Home Rev. Clarence Moorhouse officiated. Cremation followed services.
Burial was at Flushing Cemetery. Visitation was 6-9PM Wednesday and
11AM-9PM Thursday and 11AM-3PM Friday all at the funeral home. If
desired, memorial contributions may be made to her granddaughter,
Lydia’s education fund or to Genesys Hospice.
Patricia was born in Flint, MI on June 11, 1932, the daughter of
Russell and Eleanor (Yankee) Hemstreet. She married Howard West in
Flushing in 1955. He preceded her in death on May 24, 1977. Patricia
worked as a Nurses Aide for Doctors W. Z. Rundles and Rundles, retiring
in 1982. She was active in the Foster Grandparent Organization at Hurley
Hospital and is the only person in this position to receive the Apple
Award. She was an avid square dancer and was a member of the Harrison
Community Squares, and past president for Central Michigan Squares and
Round Dance Association.
Surviving are son, Lester E. and wife Hazel of Flushing;
granddaughter, Lydia Grace West, 2 brothers, Russell G. and wife Jeanne
Hemstreet of Cadillac, Lyle G. Hemstreet of Florida; sisters, Gloria and
husband Arthur Docken of Chesaning; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by companion, Keith Stoner; and sisters,
Wilma Eller and Rosemary Stone. Rossell Funeral Home, Inc., Flushing,

MARSHA LYNN CLEM
Marsha Lynn Clem,
42, of Harrison, passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at her home.
Marsha was born June 22, 1964 in Rennselaer, Indiana, the daughter of
Max and Enna Pauline (Wiseman) Clem.
Marsha had resided in Harrison since 1986, coming from Lansing,
Michigan. Marsha was united in marriage to Paul M. Clem on October 17,
1992 in Harrison. Mrs. Clem was employed with Harrison Community Schools
as a school bus driver.
Surviving are her loving husband; Paul M. Clem of Harrison, one
son; Joe Babcock of Harrison, two daughters; Karie Babcock and Shelbi
Clem both of Harrison, four sisters; Rhonda Allen and Robert Jones of
Harrison, Teresa Hanchett and husband Andy of Harrison, Paula Fouts and
husband Carl also of Harrison and Patty Schoonmaker and husband John of
Gladwin, Michigan, one grandson; Sheldon of Harrison, plus numerous
nieces, nephews, friends and coworkers. Marsha was preceded in death by
her parents and one brother; David Wiseman.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, December 2, 2006 at 1:00
p.m. from Stocking Funeral Home, Harrison, with Pastor Tony Reynolds
officiating. Cremation was held immediately following services. Memorial
